Perfect place for kids to enjoy to the fullest

A really great value for money hotel with a wide variety of activities. We didn’t try the restaurant but the facilities available for kids were amazing. The young kids enjoyed the two pools suitable for them with water slides and other exciting structures. The kids activities were well organised and the daily mini disco at 08:30pm was a lot of fun. There are lots of interesting activities for adults too. Would be amazing if they had a nursery area for kids under 4 so parents could relax for a short while. The apartment itself was fine with comfortable beds and nice views across two balconies. Shower gel was provided too. Property was cleaned quickly every two days which was absolutely fine for us. The swimming pool indoors was ok, not too warm but the jacuzzi and saunas were nice. You need to rent a towel with a €10 deposit in cash to use the facilities but note that this can be exchanged only during certain hours and days. Overall, the kids enjoyed their time thoroughly and for the price, one can’t complain at all for what you get.

They make you sign that they can fine you if property is soiled excessively, which is stressful with small kids. The whole property is filled with smokers which isn’t great for the kids, although it’s a non smoking site.

For our family of 7 that was a phenomenal holiday, great value for money. We all totally enjoyed it

Snack bar is awesome, all our kids enjoyed the food there and so as we. Sloshes and ice cream from the machine are great, honestly there is not much else needed for kids to have fun. Swimming pools are just about the right size as well.

Entertainment team could put a bit more effort to be honest as most of the times you didn't notice that somebody was there. The night shows were great if there was the actual show, because something like bingo night is not really to our taste.

The staff were excellent and I think the hotel provides an excellent level of service given it's 3 star rating. The food was pretty good, lots of freshly cooked meat and fish and a large salad bar. Plenty of choice for everyone. The hotel is a short walk from a few lovely beaches.

Cleaning was very bad:( There was a red hair on my bad when we just checked-in. During 7 days they changed our towels only on 6 day Old furniture and really not clean inside

Great place for the family with children

Some items in the room need repair and updating. The towels were not completely clean and had some stains. The room cleaning was good, but during the cleaning process, bags of dirty laundry were left in the stairways and corridors. Due to the high number of guests, there were not enough staff to clean the dining area during meal times, leading to a lot of leftover food on the floor.

Family friendly, nice location.

Very family friendly. We went for all inclusive - lots of food and drink available all day, perfect for the kids. The pools were good for kids. The location was near a cute little beach, plus some shops for snacks and things of you wanted to.

The kids’ splash zone was VERY SLIPPERY. I slipped once. My 7yo son slipped a few times and bumped the back of his head on the floor. I spoke to the lifeguard at the time - not sure if something was done. The shower in the room had glass panels so the rest of the family could see you when you were showering. They should cover the glass with fully opaque covering. As my kids are young it was fine, but teens may find this awkward.

Family of 4 - 10 day stay.

The facilities were great and kept my 7 year old and 9 year old sons busy for 10 days, in particular the swimming pools and the football pitch. The entertainment was also good and fun both through the day and in the evenings. A big positive is the location, it is very close to a beautiful beach and a small town centre with shops and restaurants. The area is very picturesque and feels very safe. The snack bar was very convenient when spending the days at the hotel and the food was always fresh.The cleaning team did very well and the rooms were always kept clean and tidy. Finally, the staff in particular the reception team were very friendly and always ready to help out.

An annoying issue was salty water in the showers/ sink taps, it meant we were using bottled water for brushing our teeth and its not best for washing your hair (or so my wife said). We were also not very fond of the food as it didnt offer much variety and the taste could be improved by adding some seasoning. The restaurant can get quite busy however the catering staff are very quick to replace the plates, cutlery and food.

We enjoyed the hotel so much! Amazing facilities for the kids could fault the kids clubs and entertainment, could of been slightly more cleaner round the pool area but that's more down to lazy people not using bins, there is plenty of bins provided just people not using them, all the staff were lovely and would definitely recommend and return to this hotel

Very Good

Despite awful reviews this hotel was fab. It’s a 3 * all inclusive, kid friendly resort and that’s what you get and can expect. The food was great, varied and something for everyone, albeit a little busy around breakfast and dinner time but it’s a big accommodation with a lot of families so I suppose it’s expected. I didn’t really get the fact that couples (mostly older) couples would go there as it is definitely a kid zone and always a Screaming child (happy and sad) can be heard throughout the day. The apartments were clean, cleaned 5 days a week, friendly happy staff, appropriate facilities for the children including a small play area and splash pools. For those complaining, it’s a joke, you get what you pay for, and the rest are bonuses, some people are Juts out to complain for nothing Ps, don’t go here if you’re easily offended by some Adults getting drunk , loud and playful throughout the day and into the night, some are just getting their moneys worth

This was our second trip to Cala D'or and it didnt let down. However it was our first trip to this hotel. Would be go again? In a heart beat but that said, there were some hiccups and things I would change. Firstly Im a believer in you get what you pay for. £900 for 5 nights all inclusive 2 adults 2 kids, can I really moan? The whole complex is well kept and looked after, but the rooms definitely need some updating. Is it enough to put me off? Not at all. To us its somewhere to get our heads down, who goes to this beautiful place to sit indoors? Rooms were clean, beds comfy and amble space for a family of 4 in a two bedroom apartment.. The cleaners come in 5 days a week to spruce up the place, change bedding and give fresh towels. I had requested ground floor on booking due to walking issues and they didnt let us down. We were prime location with a short walk to restaurants and pools etc. Pools very child orientated so perfect for our 11 and 9 year old. We did manage a small escape to the adults only rooftop pool, which met every expectation. Just lovely to relax in the jaccuzi pool, over looks the bucket splash park. The food... everything cooked fresh and amble amounts of variety for all meal times. We didnt do hungry. The snack bar was a big hit with the kids throughout the day. We were impressed to see spirits and cocktails and wines on the all inclusive bar. Top shelf drinks available at extra cost but never had to buy a drink as there was more than enough. Also all soft drinks including slushes a hit with the kids. The night time entertainment was ok, but we're not really sit round the hotel on a night kind of people. With.Cala D'or only 5 mins away by taxi and Cala Egos 5 minutes walk we preferred to be out. But it was very lively from what we did see. Overall, we've been home a week and I'd book to go back to the same place if we werent already going somewhere else! I would definitely recommend, despite many other opinions.

Our final day left us with a 10 hour power cut in apartment. No air conditioning, lights or plugs. Believe this was half of hotel including street adjoining. But was back on time to charge phones for boarding passes ready to leave..the hotel opened up the tv room for people to cool down, charge phones etc. I did request to be moved but there was no space.

Perfect for a budget holiday

My son is autistic and I was worried about the swimming pool. Thankfully the kids pool was shallow for me to let my son play away and not too shallow that he couldn't do anything. The slides in the kids pool were also great for them amd gave them a little more to do than just splash. The spa was free although I didn't use it. The gym was also free. I'm a gym freak and it was 10/10. Kids club is free and for 1hour 30mins in the morning in the afternoon and half an hour disco at night giving us adult time. Also th3 beach was literally across the road. This is the cheapest holiday I have been on and completely worth the money if your on a budget and plan on spending most of your time on the resort.

The only things I can fault is that our room got cleaned on the first day but was not touched after that we had to ask for clean towels. the next time they came was an hour before we checked out and wanted to clean the room while we were packing. Of course we said no and they left. Also the town was completely empty the main town is not walkable so we did not get going to the main town.
